Small-unit paving between a wealth of plant texture and colour leads to a secluded seating area
An all-too-common garden with tired rose beds, lawn and edging borders has been transformed with a combination of new features and diverse planting. These include the addition of a new terrace, pond and rockwork, a long pergola to one side, and an exuberantly planted lower section to the other side. An archway leads to an area of fruit and vegetables at the far end.
A long pergola and rhythmic paving design provides a clear sense of direction
